Photo of the Day: June 16, 2022

The museum team was hard at work studying pottery. Here is the rim of a Late Roman dish collected from Praso in 2021. The dish was produced in the area of modern day Tunisia and was imported to Porto Rafti in the late 4th or 5th century CE.

The Bays of East Attica Regional Survey is an archaeological project that aims to expand and clarify scholarly knowledge about the history of the area around the modern town of Porto Rafti in eastern Attica, Greece.
